Early Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis ramosissima) (02/05/2022) South Downs Link from Henfield towards the bridge over the Adur, Henfield, W Sussex. This is why Early - the pedicels (flower stalks) are shorter than the calyx and the corolla tube shorter than the calyx meaning the flowers barely protrude from the calyx. Field FMN, although small-flowered, has pedicels around two times as long as the calyx.
